Welcome to the last week of Term 1 (yes already!). In this week's issue, we caught up with former ACES Maungarei Student Sam Puna (transitioned 2020); we finally get to meet everyone's favourite Maungawhau tutor, Ezra Purcell.

In this week's issue, we rock your earbuds with a taste of Sonya and Tori's Identity Project and their creative approach to learning. We meet Tim from Maungawhau campus and get some unique insight into his world.

In this week's issue, we celebrate Pasifika month, to embrace our Pasifika staff and students. Through our Identity Projects, students have been encouraged to connect with their culture and key elements that forge identity.

ACES Attendance Advisors’ Areas With the cancellation of the Attendance and Engagement Strategy Agreement, the MoE reinvested the funds into the Attendance Service nationally. ACES Attendance Service Team has now established:

Attendance and Engagement Strategy Update: The MoE is discontinuing the Attendance and Engagement Strategy Agreement in June 2025. The funding for the Attendance and Engagement Strategy has now been reinvested into Attendance Services across the country.

Our first Amazing Race for the year was an amazing success at Cornwall Park yesterday! Featuring all seven roopu from our Maungawhau and Maungarei campuses competing for value certificates.
