Attendance Service Update: New Actions for Non-Enrolment Welcome to 2026 with the new ACES Attendance Service. There is a key change for how Non-Enrolled ākonga cases are managed and this is to ensure a seamless transition and in the hope that sustained engagement will occur. The Attendance Service cannot close a case immediately upon enrolment.

Attendance Service Update On 23 July, ACES Attendance Service submitted bids for the Reformed Attendance Service in 2026. The six catchments in the MoE Tāmaki Herenga Manawa are: - Onehunga, One Tree Hill - Howick, Botany, Pakuranga - Mt Albert, Mt Roskill, Lynfield - Selwyn, Glendowie, Tāmaki - Grammar, Western Springs - Waiheke Island

New Attendance Service Model On 14 May, Minister David Seymour made the announcement of the $140 Million School Attendance Service investment for the new Attendance Service. The present Attendance Service agreements will finish December 2025.
